My Deskmate

In the past few years, I have had many classmates, but among them, my deskmate has left the deepest impression on me. She is a girl named Li Hui, and she is not only smart but also very kind.

Li Hui is a very hardworking student. Every day, she arrives at school early and always finishes her homework before class. Her English is particularly good, and she often helps me with my studies. Sometimes, when I don’t understand a word or a sentence, she will explain it to me in a patient way. Because of her help, my English has improved a lot.

Besides being smart, Li Hui is also very friendly. She never laughs at others’ mistakes and always tries to help people in need. Once, I forgot my homework at home, and she lent me hers to copy. That made me very grateful.

Although we are just deskmates, I feel like she is more than that. She is like a sister to me. I am lucky to have such a good deskmate.
