【Summer（Holiday及小学五年级英语作文）】The summer holiday is my favorite time of the year. It is very long, and I have a lot of free time to do what I like.

During the summer, I usually go to the park with my family. We ride bikes, play football, and sometimes we go swimming. The weather is very hot, but it's also very fun. I also like to read books at home. I have a big collection of storybooks, and I enjoy reading them in the evening.

In the morning, I often help my mom with housework. I clean my room, water the plants, and sometimes cook breakfast. It makes me feel grown-up. In the afternoon, I go to learn English with my teacher. I think learning English is important because I want to speak it well one day.

My favorite part of the summer is going to the beach with my friends. We build sandcastles, swim in the sea, and eat ice cream. Sometimes we even go on a boat ride. It's so exciting and makes me happy.

I also like to watch cartoons and play games on the computer. But I always remember to study a little every day, so I won't forget what I learned in school.

The summer holiday is a time for fun, rest, and learning. I hope that this summer will be as wonderful as the last one. I can't wait for it to come again!
