【寒假生活日记英语】The winter vacation is a time when many students look forward to. This year, I decided to keep a diary in English to improve my language skills and record the interesting things that happened during the break.

On the first day of the holiday, I woke up very early and had a nice breakfast with my family. We didn’t have any plans for the morning, so I spent some time reading a book and doing some online learning. It was a peaceful start to the vacation.

One of the most exciting parts of the holiday was going to visit my grandparents. They live in a small town near the mountains, and it was really nice to be there. We spent the afternoon playing games, watching old movies, and helping them clean the house. My grandmother even taught me how to make traditional Chinese dumplings, which was a fun experience.

In the evenings, I often used my laptop to write in my English diary. I tried to describe what I did each day in simple but clear sentences. Sometimes I made mistakes, but I corrected them and learned from them. Writing every day helped me feel more confident in using English.

Another thing I did during the vacation was to watch some English movies. I chose a few that were not too difficult for me, like Finding Nemo and Moana. I watched them with subtitles at first, and then tried to understand without them. It was a great way to improve my listening skills.

I also spent some time on outdoor activities. We went skiing once, which was my first time. Although I fell several times, I enjoyed the thrill of sliding down the mountain. It was a new experience and a lot of fun.

As the vacation came to an end, I realized how much I had learned and experienced. Keeping a diary in English helped me practice writing, and I felt proud of my progress. I hope to continue this habit next year and maybe even write more detailed entries.
