Today, I am very happy to stand here and give a speech in English. My name is Li Ming, and I am a student in Grade 3. The topic of my speech is "My Dream."
Everyone has a dream. Some people want to be doctors, some want to be teachers, and others want to be scientists. As for me, my dream is to become a teacher. Why? Because I think teaching is a very meaningful job. Teachers can help students learn new things, and they can also guide us to be better people.
When I was a little child, I often watched TV programs about teachers. I saw how they helped their students and how happy the students were when they learned something new. From that day on, I wanted to be like them.
I know that becoming a teacher is not easy. It needs a lot of study and hard work. But I believe that if I keep trying, I can make my dream come true one day. I will study hard, listen to my teachers, and always do my best in class.
In the future, I hope I can teach children in a small village. I want to help those who don't have many chances to go to school. I believe that education is the key to a better life.
